Trivia Question❓In Somervell County, Texas, what unique geological feature is known as "The Texas Grand Canyon" and is a popular tourist attraction in the area? Answer at the bottom of the newsletter |
Charlie Kirk Vigil |
Last week, conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed by a single shot during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Authorities arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson on suspicion of aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and other charges; investigators said he acted alone. Robinson was taken into custody after his family helped identify him from released images; a rifle allegedly used in the shooting was found hidden nearby. Political leaders from both parties condemned the killing, and many described it as yet another alarming example of violence targeting public figures. (AP News)
Last weekend, a vigil, organized by Caitlin Nolan, was held at Heritage Park in Kirk’s honor, bringing together about 200 supporters to mourn his passing and celebrate his life. |
